	I'm married with 4 kids, love family time, movies, classic cars bar-b-ques and would love to be a chef. I became a volunteer to help people. My neighbor inspired me to join. I would see him leave to calls and always wondered what happened. Actually my wife stated she was going to join, so i followed. When I was a kid growing up, I often wondered why the Fire Department took so long to respond to calls and now i know. In any emergency minutes feel like hours. Also, we are volunteers, we come from home or other places. We are not at the station waiting for calls. I have worked for Safeway since December 1989 and my title is Pharmacy Technician. I enjoy my work very much. Family mean a lot to me. My mother and father live here in Granger along with my sister. My brother lives in Sunnyside. As I get older, I realize that I'm not spending as much time with them because of our busy lives. Usually after "heart breaking" calls, I really think about them.
